
Acropora florida is a colonial scleractinian coral (family Acroporidae) occurring in shallow Indo-Pacific reefs from the eastern Indian Ocean to the western Pacific, growing in digitate to corymbose forms with elongated axial corallites in clear, well-lit waters. The species photosymbioses with Symbiodiniaceae and is vulnerable to thermal bleaching. It is categorized as Vulnerable by the IUCN.
