
Astreopora myriophthalma is a massive to sub-massive scleractinian coral (family Acroporidae, tribe Astreoporinae) distributed across the Indo-Pacific, forming dense, rounded or encrusting colonies with small, circular corallites evenly distributed across the colony surface—distinct from most acroporids. The species inhabits reef slopes and lagoons at various depths and maintains photosymbiosis with Symbiodiniaceae. It is considered Least Concern by the IUCN.
