Acropora pulchra is a branching coral (family Acroporidae) found across the Indo-Pacific, forming corymbose to bushy colonies in shallow reef environments with fine, tapering branches. Like all Acropora, it relies on Symbiodiniaceae photosymbiosis for carbon nutrition and is susceptible to bleaching under elevated temperatures. Complex interspecific relationships and morphological variability make this species valuable for integrative taxonomic study. It is considered Vulnerable by the IUCN.
