Agaricia lamarcki is a plating scleractinian coral (family Agariciidae) endemic to the Caribbean Sea, forming broad, horizontal plates in deeper reef zones and representing one of the most depth-tolerant Caribbean corals, dominant in mesophotic ecosystems from 20 to over 70 m depth. Unlike shallower congeners, it is adapted to low-light conditions and may maintain higher symbiont density to maximize photosynthetic efficiency. It is classified as Least Concern by the IUCN.
