Cassiopea sp. PORT0000214 is an undescribed or provisionally designated member of the genus Cassiopea (family Cassiopeidae), representing a phylogenetically distinct lineage within this morphologically complex group of benthic, upside-down jellyfish. Like all Cassiopea, it harbors photosymbiotic Symbiodiniaceae and inhabits shallow tropical coastal habitats including mangroves, seagrass beds, and reef lagoons. Genomic data have been generated for this species and are available in public databases, enabling comparative studies of cnidarian evolution and ecology.
