
Epizoanthus illoricatus is a zoantharian (family Epizoanthidae) that grows as an epizoic colonial polyp on sponges, gorgonians, or other invertebrates in tropical and subtropical marine environments, characterized by small polyp size and the incorporation of foreign particles into the mesoglea.
