Fimbriaphyllia ancora (formerly Euphyllia ancora), the anchor coral or hammer coral (family Euphylliidae), is a large-polyped scleractinian coral widely distributed in shallow Indo-Pacific reef environments, recognized by its distinctive anchor-shaped or hammer-shaped tentacle tips that give it its common names. The species harbors Symbiodiniaceae photosymbionts and is popular in the marine aquarium trade.
