
Paracondylactis sinensis is a sea anemone (family Hormathiidae) described from Chinese coastal waters, inhabiting subtidal rocky substrates in temperate to subtropical environments of the western Pacific. Like other hormathiid anemones, it may associate with hermit crabs or other crustaceans in commensal relationships. Its systematic placement within Hormathiidae and comparative genomic data help clarify the evolution of commensal lifestyles in this actiniarian family.
