Zoanthus sanctaehelenae is a zoantharian (family Zoanthidae) endemic or closely associated with the remote South Atlantic island of Saint Helena, forming encrusting colonial mats on rocky substrates in the shallow subtidal zone. As an island-endemic or near-endemic species, it provides an interesting subject for studies of marine biogeography and isolation-driven diversification in the South Atlantic.
